Dear Students,
Kalpana Chawla Girls college caters to the academic aspirations of girls enrolled here. But it is not simply the academics we concentrate on, rather we make all efforts for all round harmonious development of the students.
Our guiding motto is that famous statement of Ruskin “Education does not mean teaching people to know what they don’t know , it means teaching people to behave as they don’t behave.” We have young , energetic, qualified and dedicated faculty. Kalpana Chawla Girls College is run under the banner of Kalpana Chawla Memorial Shikshan Samiti which is chaired by Shri Jailal Saharan, a visionary whose head always teems with bright and new ideas and who has done a yeoman service to open a girls college in rural areas like Sahawa.
Infrastructural and instructional development here has been both vertical ( in the intellectual field ) and horizontal in the shape of a big college building having spacious, well ventilated classrooms, well equipped laboratories , well stocked library and playground . The establishment of Kalpana Chawla Girls college is indeed a landmark in the field of girls education.
